It was super cute, the fabric is beautiful & along with the hat it made for an adorable little ensemble. The unfortunate part is that after my baby wore it only two times I had to wash it (on cold, gentle cycle of course)boy did it shrink!!! At three weeks old she could wriggle her way out of any swaddler, and as it was obvious that she wanted her hands free, we switched her to the ladybug. I wished we'd used it earlier! The shoulder straps are thick and keep her chest warm, the cotton inside is thick, like a good quality sweatshirt, and the zipper at the bottom makes opening it up for diaper changes easy. Our house is drafty, and she sleeps soundly with this on top of a mitten-cuff onesie and a sleep-and-play. The hat seems big, but it has an inside seam that doesn't give. She was too big for the hat at one month old, and she's not even at the 50 percentile in head circumference. She's barely six weeks old, and again not tall for her age, and I have to make sure I tug the blanket all the way down or I won't be able to zip it over her feet. I...
